This exercise was a rethinking of a previous workshop in Castelbianco, Italy, and simultaneously a response to the Building Conservation subject task: develop a rehabilitation project in an existing and studied building. After reanalysing the village I adopted some of the social strategies for the inhabitant’s discussed during the workshop; but also drew new conclusions, organising the village between a community nucleus and a residential area. The new localisation and program for the Castelbianco City Hall, associated to the community church and festival area, permits a concentration of public functions and a more vivid community space.
