wilhelmschule

The old Wilhelmschule in Kamp-Linfort was bought by the immobiliary company Grafschaft Moers with the intent to increase the company. They want to give a new face to the firm and decide to invest not just in a strong architectural concept but also in a new design. The concept was to project a dynamic hybrid element that goes through the building and adapts to the existing, as a floor, or furniture, or wall. This movement starts with a long ramp that embraces the main fassade and pushes the people to the inside. Then shapes the reception table, goes through the corridor spreading to some of the more important rooms and different building levels. In this project it was also necessary to do a deep renovation and adapt the old school to the office function, changing the area and space organization.
