The task of this competition was to redesign one of the oldest water towers of Latina village, Italy, and its surroundings, so as to project office clusters for a group of water companies. This without changing the actual function of the building, as well as regarding sustainable and ecologic issues. The concept was to work with simple volumes that were "random" connected to the existing tower structure, responding so to the different companies functions. The volumes are embraced by a "skin", a new fassade that transformed the tower in a new landmark, distinguishing it from all the other water towers. This tower, the highest building in Latina, becomes also a viewpoint, and there so a more public character. In the site private and public functions are combined, having on one side the required parking lot for the water companies, and on the other side a garden also for public use and a water museum located in the rehabilitated existing building.
